The bank holiday weekend has arrived and whether you're looking for something to do as a couple, on your own or with the kids, there is plenty to explore around Worcestershire.

The weather looks set to be on side with a forecast of a sunny 28°C on bank holiday Monday, so what better way to keep cool than visiting a water park?

Just a short drive from Kidderminster to Hartlebury lies a hidden gem inflatable aqua park, which is perfect for families to try this weekend and  beyond.

Lakeside Adventures officially launched its first full season this year after the success of last summer.

The aqua park is located at a farm on Station Road and came about after the owners were left with a giant hole in the ground due to a new road.

Owner of Lakeside Adventures Mike Fellows and his sister Lyz Fox started wakeboarding and paddle boarding as soon as a few inches of water started to form in the hole and the idea for the aqua park was born.

Earlier this year and ahead of the new season, owner Mike Fellows said: "We’re absolutely buzzing to be open for our first full season.

"Last year gave us a taste of how much people love the park – and this year, we’re ready to go bigger and better.

"Whether you're here for the adrenaline rush or to chill lakeside with a coffee, there’s something for everyone at Lakeside Adventures."

Just 50 yards from Hartlebury Train Station, the park features over 4,000 sqm of giant inflatable obstacles floating on a crystal-clear, spring-fed lake.

Expect giant slides, trampolines, climbing walls, and the epic 'UFO' designed for adventurers aged eight and over looking for big laughs and bigger splashes.

Lakeside Adventures also offers open water swimming, stand-up paddleboarding and fun filled team building activities for families, friends, school groups, corporate visits and more.

With RLSS-qualified lifeguards, excellent water quality, free parking, changing facilities, and an on-site café, visitors can enjoy a thrilling, safe, and stress-free day by the water.
