Tesco has confirmed it is experiencing a shortage of stock on a popular snack following concerns it had been discontinued.
Shoppers have reported being unable to find Tesco's own-brand Salt & Vinegar Rice Cakes recently.
One person, posting on X (formerly Twitter), said it had "been a while since they were last stocked" in-store, while the popular snack is also "currently out of stock" on the Tesco website.
"Could you please tell me if your Tesco Salt And Vinegar rice cakes have been discontinued?" they then asked.
Hi there, thanks for getting in touch. Having a look, I'm afraid these rice cakes are no longer showing on my system, meaning these have now been discontinued. I'm sorry for any disappointment caused. Thanks - Sharon
