A "much-loved" nature reserve in Kidderminster is set to close later this week for work to improve access for visitors.
Habberley Valley Nature Reserve will be closed on Wednesday January 7 and Thursday January 8 to allow for work to resurface the main entrance track to the site.
Wyre Forest District Council said it is "investing in improvements to make your visits even better."
A spokesperson said: "We know this is a much-loved local spot, and we're addressing those troublesome potholes along the tarmac section between the main road and visitor car park to provide you with a smoother, safer experience all year round.
"We'll reopen on Friday, 10 January, and the reserve will be ready to welcome you back with an improved entrance!
"Thank you for being so patient while we make these essential upgrades."
