Search the Public Notice PortalI ATTENDED the proposed Bridge Street development consultation at Stourport Civic Centre on Saturday morning.
As a rule I tend to write in about problems that I perceive in the area, however, I have to say that as I came away from the consultation I felt that at last something positive may be happening in the town.
We have waited a few years to see something happen to the former Lloyds Garage site which of late has been a car park.

It would be marvellous to see the site being utilised to full advantage for the town and I live in hope that something happens as a result of the work carried out so far.
I would like to thank the civic centre staff for making the building available and for the marvellous way in which they received and treated all visitors.
I would also thank the architects for not only laying on a splendid display outlining their proposed options for the site together with a proposed timeline but also for being on site to discuss their proposals.
I would like also to thank members of Wyre Forest District Council and civic society who were on hand to answer any questions arising.
All in all a positive morning.
Let’s hope the timeline comes to fruition.
