A discount shop in Kidderminster town centre has permanently closed after less than three months in its new location.
Neweys Deals, which is run by Scott Newman, officially closed its doors for the final time yesterday (Friday, April 24).
The closure of the discount shop comes less than three months after the store was opened in the Swan Centre, after the business outgrew its previous location.
The business first opened on Worcester Street in March 2025.
Writing on social media, Scott said: "I just want to say a massive thank you to all of you who have supported me over the time we have been there.
"It's been fantastic, thank you all."
The closure of the shop was announced by Scott on Sunday (April 19), with this leading to an outpouring of sadness from the shop's customers.
One person said: "It's such a shame you're going were losing the best shop in Kidderminster, we'll miss your bargains. All the best.
Another said: "Thank you for your shop, we’ll miss you. Good luck for the future.
Another person added: "I loved coming over to Kidderminster just for your shop. So sad to see it go. All the best for whatever your plans are next."
