A SEED and plant swap event is coming to town.
The event will take place in Kidderminster on Sunday, May 3, at Jelleyman's Heritage Arts Charity (JHAC), located at Townshend Works on Puxton Lane.
The event is being hosted by Incredible Edible Kidderminster and supported by Community Housing.
A spokesman for Incredible Edible Kidderminster said: "This event is about building connections within the community, sharing knowledge and encouraging people to think differently about how and where food can be grown."
Members of the public are invited to come along, to exchange seeds and plants, share gardening tips and connect with others interested in growing food.
Free refreshments will be available throughout the day.
There will be stalls from both growers and local organisations.
Family-friendly activities will be provided by Chris Millington from the Local Gardener Initiative.
The event aims to make gardening accessible and enjoyable for all ages.
Incredible Edible Kidderminster is part of a wider movement that encourages towns to grow and share food more publicly.
The group supports planting schemes across Kidderminster, including in schools, streets and transport areas.
In these areas, residents are free to pick produce at no cost.
The venue is set beside the River Stour on the grounds of the former carpet factory.
The event is open to everyone and free of charge.
