A WYRE Forest play area is set to be completely redeveloped.
Forestry England has announced plans to transform the existing space, and is inviting families, children and the wider community to help shape the project.
The new play area will be inclusive and accessible for children of all ages and abilities, with public feedback guiding its design.
Hamish Wood, recreation manager for Forestry England at Wyre Forest, said: "We want the new play area at Wyre Forest to be a place where children feel comfortable, confident and excited to play.
"By listening to families and young people, we can design a space that reflects different abilities, interests and ways of enjoying the forest."
An online survey has been launched for people to share their views on play equipment and accessible features.
The survey takes around five minutes to complete and is open to both children (with adult support) and adults.

All feedback will help ensure the new play area supports confident, creative and inclusive play for more families.
The survey will remain open until May 31.
Construction is expected to begin later this year, with the play area scheduled to open in early 2027.
The project is being funded by the UK Government as part of efforts to improve access to nature.
Forestry England manages 1,500 woods and forests across the country, with over 313 million visits recorded in 2024/25.
The organisation is also working to make forests more resilient to climate change and has committed to planting at least 2,000 hectares of new, high quality woodlands by 2026.
