A KIDDERMINSTER historian is set to showcase a rare World War Two Enigma machine.

Dr Mark Baldwin, also known as 'Dr Enigma,' will present his Codebreakers show at Huntingdon Hall in Worcester on Wednesday, May 20, at 7.30pm.

The show will detail the work of British codebreakers during the war, particularly focusing on the German Enigma machine.

This complex device was thought by the Germans to secure millions of wireless messages, but Bletchley Park experts managed to break the codes.

Dr Baldwin, an experienced speaker, has delivered more than 1,000 presentations on Enigma, codebreaking and related topics.

His talks have been held in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Poland, Slovenia and the United States, as well as on cruise ships.

Tickets for the show can be obtained by contacting Huntingdon Hall.
