THE Kidderminster Harriers Independent Supporters' Trust (KHIST) have welcomed the 'swift' appointment of Paul Wotton as the club's new manager.

Wotton was appointed as the new Kidderminster Harriers manager on Tuesday, May 28.

The former Torquay United and Truro City boss joins the Harriers following the departure of promotion-winning manager Adam Murray for a fellow National League outfit.

Wotton has also previously spent time as a first-team coach at Plymouth Argyle.

In a statement sent to the Kidderminster Shuttle, KHIST praised the 'swift' appointment of Wotton and expressed its full backing for the new manager and the club as preparations for the 2026/27 National League campaign continue.

A spokesperson for the Kidderminster Harriers Independent Supporters' Trust said: "KHIST welcomes Paul Wotton as the new manager of Kidderminster Harriers.

"Following the sudden departure of Adam Murray, securing a swift appointment is a positive step as we look ahead to the new season.

"With a manager now in place, we are hopeful the club can move quickly to retain key players and bring in the right additions to build a strong, competitive squad for the National League campaign.

"KHIST will continue to show our support for Chairman Richard Lane and Technical Director Dean Holdsworth as they work to stabilise the club and put the right foundations in place for long‑term progress.

"We’re excited to watch the squad take shape and look forward to giving our full backing to Paul and the team as preparations for the new season begin."
