Kidderminster's Birmingham Road will also be temporarily closed for a single night on June 17 for manhole cover renewal works.

The closure will affect the stretch from its junction with Leswell Lane to its junction with Shrubbery Street, and will be in place from 7pm to 6am.

In Wolverley, Drakelow Lane will be closed for one day on July 3 for a pole replacement by Openreach.

The road will be closed from its junction with Sladd Lane to its junction with Wolverley Village.

Fox Lane in Chaddesley Corbett will be closed for two days starting July 6, for the installation of timber post and rail fencing at a bridge.

The closure will run from its junction with Dobes Lane to its junction with Kidderminster Road.

Bewdley will see the closure of Kidderminster Road, Beales Corner, Load Street, and Stourport Road for carriageway patching and civil works over multiple phases.

These closures are set to last for three nights, from 8pm to 6am, starting June 15.

The closure will run from its junction with Lye Head Road to its junction with Bine Lane.

Harvington Hall Lane and Harbash Lane in Harvington will be closed for overhead works by Openreach.

The closure is scheduled to last for five days, beginning on July 6.

The A456 Park Butts Ringway, A456 Bewdley Road Roundabout, A442 Proud Cross Ringway, A4535 Mason Road, and Chapel Road in Kidderminster will be closed for carriageway resurfacing.

These closures are expected to last for three nights, from 8pm to 6am, between July 6 and July 15.

Bewdley Road North Service Road in Stourport on Severn will be closed for five days, starting July 9, for footway reconstruction.

Alternative routes are provided.

The council assures that exemptions will be made for access to properties fronting the affected roads, and for the works to be undertaken.

In addition to the road closures, a temporary 30 mph speed limit will be imposed on Dunclent Lane, Stone, from June 15 for 29 days, to ensure safe working conditions during the replacement of a water main.

Worcestershire County Council is also considering a new order to prohibit waiting at any time on certain lengths of Shrewsbury Road in Kidderminster.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions).

Objections or representations regarding this order must be sent in writing to the County Hall or emailed to roadtrafficregs@worcestershire.gov.uk by July 9, 2026.
