A youth theatre group is bringing a high-energy performance to the stage.
Kidderminster Operatic and Dramatic Youth Section (KODYS) will perform the smash-hit musical Grease at The Rose Theatre from Thursday, June 25 to Saturday, June 27.
This will include a special Saturday matinee.
Packed with classic songs and energetic dance routines, the show promises to transport audiences to Rydell High with favourites including Summer Nights, Greased Lightnin’, Hopelessly Devoted to You and You’re The One That I Want.
Director Hayley Jordan said: "Our talented cast is working incredibly hard to bring these iconic characters and memorable Grease moments to life.
"This is the first time Grease has been performed at The Rose Theatre, and it’s also my directorial debut. I honestly couldn’t be more proud of what our KODYS members are achieving in the rehearsal room.
"My co-director Scott and I cannot wait for audiences to see the show - this is definitely not one you’ll want to miss."
The cast features young performers from across the local area, showcasing the passion, dedication, and creativity of the society’s thriving youth section.
Ahead of the production, the group held a raffle and quiz night to help fund the hire of the iconic Greased Lightnin’ car, which will feature in the show.
