IT’S obvious to anyone walking around the Spennells estate and playing field along Heronswood Road that the councils are lacking in their duty of care to maintain the grass verges and playing field.
The grassed area off Heronswood Road resembles a field and not a recreation area with grass nearly above one’s knees.
Yes, the council can argue its budget is restrained but they set the budget.
Their system of reporting an issue lacks any form of response so, come on, take pride in maintaining the grassed areas.
