An update has been issued on the reopening of a splashpad in Kidderminster after a recent "technical fault".

The splashpad at Brinton Park is back up and running following its closure last week due to a fault.

In an update, Brinton Park said: "We're pleased to let you know that the splashpad at Brinton Park is now open.

"Thank you for your patience while our teams worked hard behind the scenes to resolve the recent technical issues and get the facility back up and running safely.

"If you're planning a visit, please make sure to follow the rules so we can keep the fun safe for everyone."

The rules include that the splashpad is for under-12s only and they must be supervised by an adult at all times, they must wear swimwear and pool shoes, swim nappies are required for children who are not toilet-trained, you cannot drink the water or add soap. No drinking the water or adding soap

The splashpad is open daily from 11am to 5pm, but during busy times it may be closed between 2pm and 3pm for cleaning and safety checks.
