A pub in the heart of a Kidderminster community is celebrating after earning two top awards thanks to feedback from customers.
The Cavalier on Tennyson Way thanked the community for leaving reviews over the last few months, which has helped the team win two Restaurant Guru 2026 awards.
The awards were for Best Atmosphere and Best Service in Kidderminster.
Ben Roberts and Coltan Rowley said: "Well this made us smile. A huge thank you to everyone who's taken the time to leave us a review. Your feedback over the last few months has earned us not one, but two Restaurant Guru 2026 awards.
"For a traditional, family-friendly pub, there's no bigger compliment than knowing people enjoy spending time with us. Whether you've popped in for a pint, brought the family for tea, joined us for karaoke, tucked into a Sunday roast or simply enjoyed a chat in the beer garden thank you."
The Cavalier boasts a 4.5 star rating on Google Reviews with customers praising the "amazing" atmosphere and "lovely" home cooked food.
One reviewer said: "The food was outstanding, very good value for money and it was lovely eating home made food."
Another reviewer said: "You could tell everything was home made including the huge Yorkshire puddings. Thank you all for a delicious dinner at very reasonable prices."
Another reviewer added: "Very friendly and local community feel that's the pulsating heart of the local area."
The pub has also praised both its staff and credited its customers for their support.
