KIDDERMINSTER Town Council's planning committee is set to discuss the proposed introduction of a 'no stopping at any time' restriction near a primary school following concerns about parents parking.

The proposed restriction on stopping on school entrance markings at Comberton Primary School on Borrington Road will be discussed at the meeting of Kidderminster Town Council's planning committee this evening (Tuesday, August 25).

According to the meeting's agenda, the proposed 'no stopping at any time' restriction on the school entrance markings follows concerns raised by the local councillor regarding parking by parents during school drop-off and pick-up times.

At the meeting, the planning committee will be invited to consider the proposal and determine whether it wishes to submit any comments or representations as part of the consultation.

The meeting agenda reads: "Following concerns raised by the local Councillor regarding parking by parents during school drop-off and pick-up times, it is proposed to introduce a 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction on the School Entrance Markings covering the two existing school keep clear areas outside the school."
