A road near a roundabout in Kidderminster is set to close for a day.

According to the Worcestershire County Council website, Coventry Street will be closed on Thursday (September 3).

There is a valid permit in place until Friday (September 4).

The closure is needed to facilitate the replacement of a manhole cover by Severn Trent.

Delays are likely whilst the work is being completed and drivers are advised to plan ahead of any journeys.

There will be a diversion route in place via Worcester Cross Ringway, Comberton Hill, Chester Road North, Birmingham Road, Coventry Street and vice versa.
