Brand-new pickleball courts are set to open in Alveley.
After soft launching the courts for a couple of months last year, Alveley Tennis Club are preparing for the grand opening and hope to introduce new players to the growing sport.
Club chairman Ben Spicer said: "It's a growing sport that's gone viral and been featured in the Invictus Games. It's becoming more competitive and I think the courts will help bring new members to the club."

The club, which is based on Daddlebrook Road, is looking for 24 Pickleball players to play on the opening night on Friday (September 4).
The call out is open to both men and woman and players can be beginners, improvers or professionals.
Both members and non-members are welcome to the open and non-members are being offered two free visits to the club to play Pickleball or tennis, so they can get a feel for the sport before committing to a membership.
Mr Spicer said: "There will be free coaching at the opening event and a chance to meet new people. It will be very social as we're a friendly club. The courts are outdoors too so it's something a bit different.
"Everyone can have a go even if you've never played it before. You can just come down and a have look if you prefer, but we'd like everyone who visits to have a little go.
"They say it's an easy sport to pick up but hard to master."

The Pickleball social sessions will take place every Tuesday and Friday evenings from 7pm to 9pm.
Pickleball coaching starts in September on Wednesday in the day and Friday evenings.
Mr Spicer, who has been chairman for just over a year, said: "I joined the club as a youngster and all these years later, I'm now chairman.
"There is a real sense of community at the club and the more people who get involved in the sessions, the better they will be."
