KIDDERMINSTER Harriers forward Lewis Walker has been named in the National League Team of the Week after his double in the club's thumping 4-1 victory at Wealdstone.

Walker found the net twice at Grosvenor Vale as Paul Wotton's 10-man Harriers moved up to eighth on the National League table and extended their unbeaten streak since the opening day of the season to five games.

Since arriving from Braintree Town, where he scored 10 league goals in the 2025/26 campaign, Walker has continued his scoring form, netting five times in six league games and currently sitting joint second on the National League goalscoring charts.

After his impressive showing against Wealdstone, Walker was rewarded with a place in the National League Team of the Week alongside other star performers from the weekend's fixtures.

These include Boreham Wood's Zak Brunt, Barrow's Isaac Marriot, Boston United's shot-stopper Louis Chadwick and Gateshead defender Alex Lankshear.

The Harriers are now preparing for the Friday night visit to Aggborough of Hartlepool United on September 11.
