Where you can watch the Hills Ford Stages Rally in Clee Hill

The organisers of the popular road rally have released detailed spectator information ahead of the action getting underway on September 19.

The event will get underway with the Hills Ford Stages Rally Festivals at Weston Park, which will bring the rally together for an afternoon of motorsport, displays, activities and four competitive stages within the Weston Park estate.

The following day, on September 20, the rally heads onto closed public roads of Shropshire, with five stages, including Clee Hill, creating the route through some of the county's spectacular countryside.

Ahead of the action in Clee Hill, spectators have been asked not to park on the verges or obstruct narrow lanes, and to respect the local residents and businesses.

According to the rally's organisers, a spectator parking and viewing area will be available at Ditton Priors; however, people have been asked not to approach this area from the B4368.

There will also be 'no spectator no entry' signs at junctions on roads in the area, with spectators asked to respect these signs.

From Ludlow or from Bridgnorth, spectators are asked to use the B4364 to Cleobury North before turning onto Oakwood Road towards Ditton Priors.

Spectators should then turn left onto Chapel Lane and continue into Hall Road to the road-closed point at Ashfield Road, where they can follow the spectator direction arrows.

For the Clee Hill stage SS6, the first car is due at 9.13am, and for the Clee Hill stage SS11, the first car is due at 2.11pm.

Toilets and refreshments will be available within the spectator parking area, and spectators are reminded that the payment type at the event will be cash only.

All proceeds from the spectator area will be donated to Ditton Priors Community Support.
