A woman who "cared deeply" about her town has been honoured with a plaque for her dedication to flood defences.
The new £10 million Bewdley flood defences have been dedicated in memory of Gillian Holland.
She was a community supporter for defences which include flood walls, gates and barriers.
Mayor of Bewdley Councillor Sharon Harvey attended the unveiling of the plaque alongside members of Gillian's family.
Her family said: "Mum cared deeply about Bewdley, its heritage and community, and worked tirelessly to make a difference."
The Environment Agency's new flood defences have balanced modern flood defence with preservation of Bewdley’s unique heritage.
It also better protects the Beales Corner area from flooding.
