The application, which has been submitted to Wyre Forest District Council by That Tree Care Company Ltd. on behalf of the applicant, seeks permission to begin work on trees that are subject to a Tree Preservation Order (TPO).
A TPO is a legal order made by a local planning authority to protect specific trees, groups of trees, or woodlands from deliberate damage, felling, topping, lopping, or uprooting.
As part of the application, permission is sought to fell 18 protected trees, including two crack willows, three goat willows, five poplars, four sycamores, two birches, and two maples, as well as permission to reduce a further 10.

According to the application form, the trees in question are not diseased, and there is no fear that they might break or fall, and there is no alleged damage caused to property.
The application was received and validated by Wyre Forest District Council on September 7.
