THE owners of popular kiosks in Stourport that specialise in fresh ice cream have said that they are 'incredibly proud' after receiving a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
The Stourport Riverside Kiosks, which are owned by brother and sister Helen and David Murdoch, were awarded the new food hygiene rating after an inspection carried out by the Food Standards Agency (FSA).
The updated rating is the kiosks' third consecutive five-out-of-five rating.
Alongside their popular fresh ice cream, which is made from fresh milk from Bennetts' Manor Farm, the kiosks serve hot dogs, burgers, slushies, doughnuts, and sundaes.
The kiosks also take pride in catering for a number of dietary requirements, including dairy-free.
After being awarded their latest five-out-of-five food hygiene rating, Helen was on hand to express her pride.
Speaking to the Kidderminster Shuttle, she said: “This latest rating proves that we have got a good team who go above and beyond to make sure everything is done as it should be.
“We are incredibly proud to receive a five-out-of-five rating again.”
