HOMEBUYERS could be celebrating Christmas in a brand new property thanks to a part exchange scheme.

Elan Homes is offering the scheme in Worcestershire to help buyers secure a move before the festive season.

The scheme is available on selected properties at Sandbourne Gardens in Bewdley, where buyers can trade in their current home and move without the delays of a property chain.

Julie Johnson, regional head of sales at Elan Homes, said: "People may think it's too soon to be thinking about Christmas, but the reality is that if you want to wrap up a move before the end of the year, you'll need to be quick.

"We can't promise a white Christmas but with part exchange we can offer the reassurance of effectively having a guaranteed cash buyer for your existing home.

"With no complicated chains to hold things up, you'll be able to jingle all the way into a new home."

A special event will be held at Sandbourne Gardens on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27 to showcase the scheme and available homes.

The development includes two, three, four and five-bedroom properties, with prices starting from £289,995.

Part exchange is available on selected plots and an alternative EasyMove scheme is also on offer.

EasyMove involves Elan working with an estate agent to sell the customer’s home on the open market, with no agent fees payable in either scheme.

The homes feature open-plan layouts, energy-efficient designs and are suited for family life and festive gatherings.

Elan Homes estimates that buyers could save around £420 a year on energy bills compared to older properties.

Bewdley is described as a 'picture postcard' town with a steam railway, safari park, independent shops and good schools.

It is also within commuting distance of Worcester and Birmingham via Kidderminster station.

More information is available via the Elan Homes Website.
