A road in Kidderminster is set to close for four days.

According to the Worcestershire County Council website, Park Lane will be closed from its junction near Roundhill Wharf to its junction with Castle Road from Monday (October 19).

There is a valid permit in place until Thursday (October 22).

The closure is needed to facilitate the installation or replacement of a water main by Severn Trent.

Delays are likely whilst the work is being completed and drivers are advised to plan ahead of any journeys.

The footway is expected to remain closed throughout the duration of the work, but an alternative pedestrian route will be provided.

A diversion will be in place via Park Lane, Stourport Road, Sutton Road, Bewdley Road, Crescent Road, Woodfield Crescent, Castle Road and vice versa.
