MEET the 'very affectionate' cat who has become a community favourite in Bewdley.
According to her owner, Lyndsey Jane Edmundson, Heidi the 'mischievous' moggie is no stranger to the people of Bewdley and is regularly spotted in the laps of people in the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens.
Heidi is also known to the staff in the Bewdley Museum, especially in the garden kitchen where it is believed she searches for a tasty morsel or two.

According to Lyndsey, it is also believed that Heidi sleeps above the craft studios in the saw yard.
Despite living the life of a popular cat, Lyndsey says that on 'several occasions', she, her husband and her daughters have been forced to carry their popular feline away from the attention of Bewdley residents to ensure she is properly fed.

After being fed, Heidi 'shoots back off' to take up her mantle as the 'cat about town'.
"We live on High Street, which backs onto Jubilee Gardens," Lyndsey said.
"Heidi has been doing this for a few years in the warmer months.
"Myself, my husband and my daughters have all carried Heidi home on several occasions to make sure she’s fed and flead, but she just shoots back off again.

"We often see her sat on people’s laps in Jubilee Gardens. "
"She’s known to the staff in the museum – especially the garden kitchen, where I assume she gets fed a bit too. We think she sleeps above the craft studios in the saw yard.
"She’s very, very affectionate but also knows when she’s had enough and can be moody too."
According to Lyndsey, she and her family find it 'lovely' that their beloved cat gets plenty of attention when she is out and about, but admitted that they are hoping she comes home as the winter weather takes its grip.
She said: "It’s lovely to know that she’s getting plenty of attention and fuss while she’s on her annual holiday – but we’re hoping that she comes home when it starts to get colder."
