A rising dressage star from Kidderminster has said that she is 'delighted' after securing her latest competition victory.

Grace Brighton, 18, claimed a second-place finish in the 'Preliminary 6' event and was crowned the overall winner of the Silver section at the D&H Associated Championships that were held at Addington Equestrian in Buckingham.

At the event, Grace, on her horse Bernstein, a Haflinger stallion owned by Victoria Smith, recorded their best score to date together.

The pair scored a total of 68.6 per cent.

After her latest victory, Grace said she was 'delighted' with her and Bernstein's performance.

She said: "I'm delighted with his victory and how Stein performed at a championship show.

"I'm so grateful to Victoria for giving me this opportunity."

Bernstein is 12 years old and based at Coverdale Equestrian in Chaddesley Corbett, with Mark Lawson Walters and Nick Lawson Walters.

The latest victory for the rising Kidderminster dressage star adds to an impressive 2026, which has seen her rack up more than 10 first-place finishes.

This includes her victory on her 18th birthday in the Novice Silver class at the Petplan Area Festival, which was hosted at Bury Farm Equestrian Village in September.
