A bungalow could be turned into extra space for a care home.

The application, which was submitted to Wyre Forest District Council, would see a change of use of a bungalow at 3 Milldale Close in Kidderminster to provide additional provision for an existing care home.

The care home offers provision for young adults with learning difficulties.

The plan includes "extensions and alterations to the existing adjoining bungalows providing care for young adults with severe learning difficulties."

The application said: "The proposal seeks to unify the bungalows and create space for an additional service user."

The site is currently used as an existing care facility with adjacent parking and amenity space.

There are currently three parking spaces, which would increase to seven under the plans.

There would also be the creation of two cycle spaces.

There would be four employees at the site.

The application said: "The proposed use of the two properties as continued use as care homes is considered acceptable in this location and would, subject to statutory consultation, gain officer support."
