A WALKING group is inviting residents to join free guided countryside walks around the Stourport area this December.

Rock Pathfinders has organised two walks during the month, offering participants the opportunity to explore local footpaths and bridleways.

The walks typically cover between five and seven miles and take approximately two to three hours to complete.

Routes take participants away from roads and into the countryside, with many featuring undulating terrain and stiles.

The group usually walks at a brisk pace, and participants are advised that dogs are not permitted.

The first walk is scheduled for Thursday, December 3, starting at 10am, although the meeting location and route for this event have yet to be confirmed.

A second walk will take place on Thursday, December 17, also starting at 10am.

For this one, participants should meet at Walshes Meadow Cafe, off Dunley Road in Stourport, DY13 0AA.

Both walks are free to attend and open to everyone.

Further details, including updates to routes and meeting points, are available via the Rock Pathfinders website.
