THE number of participants in the “world’s biggest coffee morning” is growing.
Tomorrow's event, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, is inspiring people from across Wyre Forest to organise get-togethers.
Arch Hill Court, in Orchard Street, Kidderminster, which offers care for the elderly, is taking part. Other confirmed participants are Ann and Eric Mole, of Pelham Lodge, Kidderminster and Norma and Colin Page, of Kinlet. Both events will run from 10am until noon. The Chantry at St Mary’s Church will welcome visitors from 10am to 1pm.
Staff at Specsavers, High Street, Stourport, will dress as doctors and nurses to provide customers with the choice of tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits from 10am.
Bewdley Rowing Club will hold its coffee morning today from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
