I have mixed feelings about Herbal remedies, believing that Doctors, generally, know best. However it is a moot point whether a Doctor would ever suggest trying a herbal remedy even if it was efficacious.
I acquired some Verrucas, on my heel, in Greece some years ago and they have recieved the ministrations of a couple of Doctors, a Nurse, 'Bazooka' and all manner of freezing treatments - all to no avail. I read an article in the newspaper suggesting the application of a Banana skin to the affected part. Checking that it wasn't April 1st I decided to give it a go.
I limped around with a Banana-skin heel-patch for 2 weeks then gave it up as a bad job.Two weeks later and my 7 year old veruccas have gone. Did they just die of old age or laughing?
I would be interested if someone out there has the same success.
