THE main road running through Chaddesley Corbett has had a £100,000 resurfacing.
Conservative Worcestershire county councillor, Stephen Clee, said he was delighted with the high quality of the work and added it had been praised by local councillors and villagers.
He explained: “The resurfacing work was very tricky because the village had to remain open while the works took place in August.
“It involved a great deal of consultation but I am delighted the parish council and villagers have been patient and the results now show a wonderful resurfacing that will last for many years to come.”
Chaddesley Corbett Conservative Wyre Forest district councillor, Stephen Williams, said: “I am absolutely delighted with the work.
”I also have to praise the way the county council liaised with residents and local businesses and kept disruption to a minimum.” He added: “The finished surface is of a very high quality indeed.”
