FIVE stylists from a hair salon in Kidderminster will be strutting through the moonlight at Kemp Hospice’s women’s midnight walk.

Jayne Clarke has owned the Tangles salon in Spennells for the past five years, and together with the staff decided to take part in this year’s fundraiser to support the hospice.

She explained: “We often find that we have clients who have been touched by cancer. Treatments such as chemotherapy can change the way the hair grows back, so we help those clients find a new style that suits them.”

The unisex salon is also based next to one of KEMP’s charity shops, so the team decided to join the walk to support the Hospice.

The ladies will be asking their customers to sponsor them in order to raise funds for KEMP Hospice.

Beth Hillyard, hospice fundraiser, said: “We have more than 250 women registered for the walk. It looks like it is going to be another fantastic night out for women in the Wyre Forest.”

The walk under a starry sky on June 27 will be five miles through the forest starting at the stroke of midnight at the Forestry Commisson, Callow Hill.
