AGE Concern Wyre Forest is desperately short of volunteers.
“We are looking for people who can spare a couple of hours each week or month to help us at the Tulip Tree Centre,” said Jenny Knowles, senior support officer.
“We are desperately short of escorts to assist older people who travel into the centre on our minibus for our luncheon clubs on a Tuesday, Thursday or Friday.”
Potential volunteers should be able to give a few hours a week helping older people.
Age Concern also runs a foot care service every Wednesday afternoon at the centre and volunteers are also needed to help run it. Full training would be given by the NHS.
