SPEEDING and parking emerged as priority issues at the Cookley and Wolverley PACT (Partners and Communities Together) meeting.
People who attended the meeting, in Cookley, on Tuesday selected three priorities for police and partners to address over the months ahead.
They included speeding along Franche Road in Wolverley, parking issues near Cookley Sebright Primary School and looking at a lower speed limit for Lowe Lane in Wolverley.
PC Sally Sliwinska, local policing officer for Kidderminster rural, said: “Parking and speeding issues remain a top priority for residents in Cookley and Wolverley and we will be working hard over the coming months to tackle these particular priorities.
“We will be giving feedback on the actions we have taken at the next PACT meeting planned for November 25 at Wolverley Church Hall, starting at 7pm.
“Everyone is welcome at this meeting and those attending will also be able to raise any new concerns they may have relating to the Cookley and Wolverley areas.”
Details of the PACT meeting and others in the area are available online at www.westmercia.police.uk under the local policing heading.
