THE £4.3 million first new primary school to be built as part of the Wyre Forest Schools Review has been completed.
The new Sutton Park Primary School buildings in Kidderminster will be handed over to Worcestershire County Council on Monday and the school will be moving in over the course of the week.
Conservative Marcus Hart, the county council's cabinet member for children and young people (0-11 years), said: "I am absolutely delighted with the new build.
“This is an excellent facility that will serve local children for generations and is the first of a number of new school builds in the Wyre Forest area."
Val Adams, headteacher, said: "This building represents a wonderful new start for Sutton Park Community Primary School's family and we are delighted with this investment in the future for children in the local community."
