A FORMER Labour party leader on Wyre Forest District Council has won back the seat he dramatically lost two years ago in a by-election.
Jamie Shaw, of Redstone Lane, Stourport, was one of four candidates contesting the Areley Kings seat yesterday.
Both district and Stourport Town Council by-elections took place on the same day following the death of former town Mayor, Mike Partridge, on October 19.
As well as Mr Shaw, Tony Baker of UKIP, Conservative, Ken Henderson and Gary Talbot, of Independent Community and Health Concern (ICHC), were competing for the seat.
