RELATIVES and friends of a popular Hartlebury post lady have raised more than £2,000 for the County Air ambulance through a sponsored walk on the Isle of Man.
Carol Burden, who died last year aged 63, was a familiar figure in the village as she delivered the post from her trolley.
She also helped the elderly and house-bound by supplying stamps and other postal items.
The recent walk round the TT course follows a similar fund-raising exercise for another relative a few years ago when £35,000 was donated to the Air Ambulance.
Carol's uncle Geoff Mann said the family were grateful for the support given to a good cause.
