FIREFIGHTERS tackled an undergrowth fire in Blakeshall last night.
They were called to Blakeshall Lane at about 6pm and spent about two hours battling the blaze.
About half an acre of undergrowth had caught fire. One pump from Kidderminster and an off road vehicle from Stourport attended.
It is uncertain what caused the fire.
Yesterday afternoon, firefighters had been called to an undergrowth fire in the Rifle Range Nature Reserve, near Devil’s Spittleful.
The incident took place at about 4pm. Firefighters believe the fire may have been started deliberately.
