WYRE Forest’s MP will be joining fund-raisers in a sponsored bike ride for Kidderminster’s Kemp Hospice.
The event, on Saturday, July 17, will be held at the new purpose-built off-road cycle track at Stourport Sports Club.
Participants can choose to cycle three, 15 or 30 kilometres to help raise cash for the hospice.
Wyre Forest’s Conservative MP, Mark Garnier, was joined at the launch of the event by Wyre Forest Cycle Racing Club members, Norbert Wysocki and James Plant.
Mr Garnier will be taking part in the ride with his son, Eddie.
He said: “It is great to be able to support a great cause like Kemp and get outside for some exercise with the family at the same time. I’m sure the day will be a great success.”
There is a cost, including a family rate, to register.
There are no fund-raising minimums.
