Kidderminster Soroptimists celebrated the 100th Anniversary of International Women's Day by having fun for good causes. A team of three members, Stephanie Ainsley, Denise Carson and Hilary Thompson took part in the Kidderminster Pancake Races on Shrove Tuesday.

Competing in both the Ladies and the Relay Races, they tossed pancakes around the course finishing at the Town Hall. The event raised funds for Trinity Methodist Church's Restoration Fund.

Wearing purple as the colour of International Women's Day, the team was supported and sponsored by Club members who gathered in the Rowland Hill Centre where they were joined by other women inclduing a visiting Soroptimist from the Jakarta Club in Indonesia.
