BAYTON Primary School in Kidderminster will hold an annual open day for prospective families on Saturday from 10am to 4pm.

Visitors can see a new classroom which has been built to accommodate the school’s reception children.

Pupils and their families will be constructing a greenhouse from recycled two-litre plastic bottles. The project has been in planning for the past year and is an opportunity for the children to build the greenhouse that they and future Bayton children can use to grow plants and vegetables. The build has been co-ordinated by teaching assistant Sarah Brown and parent and local architect, Stuart Mumford.
