KIDDERMINSTER Art Society (KAS) won £350 worth of vouchers after a member entered a competition in an art magazine.
Jill Parker scooped the prize after she wrote into Great Art magazine outlining the history, aims and aspirations of KAS, which is now in its 81st year.
Louise Rose from Great Art attended the society’s weekly meeting on Thursday, December 1 to present the vouchers for art materials.
President Jim McIntyre said the group was “absolutely delighted”, as the vouchers will be used as prizes for various painting competitions throughout the year.
