WYRE Forest residents are being warned not to be taken in by fake air ambulance clothing collection bags.
Bags claiming to be collecting on behalf of the Gloucestershire and Worcestershire Air Ambulance ask residents to contact 07979 805393 and quote the charity number listed on them.
Worcestershire Regulatory Services wants people to be aware that The Gloucestershire & Worcestershire Air Ambulance is not a registered charity.
The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is the only charity responsible for funding the air ambulances that serve the Worcestershire area.
Anyone concerned about an air ambulance charity bag they have received can check if the bag is genuine by calling Midlands Air Ambulance on 0800 840 2040.
Any suspicious charity bags can be reported to Consumer Direct on 0845 4040506.
