BROCKENCOTE Hall Hotel in Chaddesley Corbett donated furnishings to Kemp Hospice charity shops and they were snapped up within days.
The former manor house was taken over and refurbished by the Eden Hotel Collection. New manager, Dean Gunsten contacted Kemp to give a large quantity of soft furnishings, pictures and lamps to the hospice shops.
Dawn MacAdam, manager of Kemps’ Bewdley shop said: “We were very excited about this kind offer and the donated items went straight out to our shops. Word spread quickly that we had some really lovely items donated by Brockencote and we sold out within a few days – volunteers and customers were delighted. Our charity shops rely on kind donations so we are very grateful.”
