FAMILY and friends of a late Kidderminster golfer teed off in his memory, to raise £3,000.
The golf day to remember Gary Silcock, who died last November, aged 56, was held at Ombersley Golf Club on Friday, May 11.
Mr Silcock’s mother Shirley said: “My family and I would like to say a big thank you to all Gary’s family friends and colleagues, who have raised over £3,000 for St Richard’s Hospice.
“I feel very humble for the care and concern you all have showed to me and my family. Gary would be very proud.”
She also congratulated family friend nine-year-old Holly Tandy who raised £355 for the hospice in a sponsored swim.
