YOUNGSTERS at a Bewdley first school have scooped a bronze eco medal after showing how much they care for the environment.
St Anne's CE School won the Eco Schools Status award for promoting recycling, reusing and reducing among its pupils.
They also showed how they had worked to improve their environment and the pupils' eco committee successfully obtained a grant to buy bird and bug boxes, gardening equipment and push taps for the sinks used by Key Stage One pupils.
Teacher, Jane Wagstaff, said: "We're absolutely delighted and it has spurred us all on to achieve even more."
