A HARTLEBURY-based quad bikes supply business is backing a rising child star who races the machines.
Apache Quads, on Hartlebury Trading Estate, has signed up 10-year-old Callum Corrigan, of Sheffield, to ride the Apache F100 Ultra Junior Quad on the UK race circuit for the 2008 season.
The youngster has been competing on the junior race circuit for two years and has already made his mark on the track.
Among his 2007 successes were third and fourth place finishes in leading events.
The lucrative sponsorship deal means Callum will be riding high performance Apache F100s, which are fully race tuned and race prepared, to boost his chances of success in the coming season.
Richard Latham, managing director of Apache Quads, said: "We are thrilled to have signed Callum for the coming season and this further strengthens our commitment to seriously enter into the quad racing scene in the UK.
"Callum's skill and talent is clear for all to see."
