PHASE one of Kidderminster’s largest industrial business development is nearing full occupation, with a 27,500 sq ft letting to nationwide delivery company, City Link.

Finepoint, a 320,000 sq ft site, located just off the A451, four miles from Kidderminster town centre, was officially launched in summer last year.

The first phase of Finepoint totals 86,600 sq ft and includes 10 speculative industrial units, ranging from 5,600 sq ft to 33,000 sq ft, offering both freehold and leasehold opportunities.

Tom Gormley, of property fund managing firm, Highcross, said the site’s location and flexibility of accommodation were behind the scheme’s success.

He explained: “The location, within easy reach of the M5, and the wide range of unit options on offer, are attracting strong interest from companies looking for expansion space.

“We are now planning the next phase of the scheme, which will comprise a range of high specification office accommodation, including a new business centre.”

Tesni Rutherford, of GVA Grimley, Birmingham - joint lettings agent for the development, added: “As more and more companies show interest in letting space at Finepoint, it becomes easier to understand its success.

“The excellent transport links and close amenities make the site a great place to work, as well as a perfect solution for business.

“The development was carefully planned from conception to offer an ideally situated, easily accessible group of units.

“It is adjacent to a golf course, sports club and driving range, offering occupiers a quality environment with ample car parking as well as 24-hour access.”

Highcross and Graftongate celebrated City Link’s arrival at their new Finepoint development in Kidderminster and the sale of a further unit to Rivco Ltd, which has just acquired a 5,600 sq ft unit at the scheme.
