BROCKENCOTE Hall Hotel, at Chaddesley Corbett, has welcomed a new head chef.
John Sherry will take responsibility for cuisine at the only AA Red Star hotel in the West Midlands.
Glaswegian, Mr Sherry’s, style is classical French with a contemporary European influence.
In recent years he has worked both at the Cotswold House Hotel in Chipping Camden and, most recently, the Manor House in Moreton-in-Marsh.
Before that, he spent some time working in France.
He said of Brockencote Hall: “It’s a very special place and a hotel I’ve been aware of for many years.”
He added: I’m really looking forward to getting to know our regular guests and, hopefully, to be responsible for attracting a new raft of diners, intrigued to experience what is so special about this hotel and its restaurant.”
