BROCKENCOTE Hall Hotel at Chaddesley Corbett has won another award to add to others it has won over the years.

The hotel is the only AA Red Star hotel in the West Midlands and is officially one of the top 200 hotels in the country.

The latest award was collected at the Heart of England Excellence in Tourism awards ceremony, at the ICC in Birmingham, hosted by BBC presenters, Nick Owen and Suzanne Virdee.

The Heart of England area includes Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Birmingham and the Black Country.

Brockencote Hall had been shortlisted for the Small Hotel of the Year award with The Elms Hotel, Abberley and the Wilton Court Hotel at Ross-on-Wye, in Herefordshire.

Joseph Peitjean, who owns Brockencote with his wife, Alison, said: “We never tire of winning awards because it says to us that we are maintaining and building on the high standards we set ourselves year after year.

Mrs Petitjean said: “It is wonderful for our team to see the hotel winning awards for excellence and makes them rightly proud of their efforts.

“We have a passion at Brockencote for exceeding the expectations of our guests – in every aspect of what we do – our accommodation, the cuisine, the customer service - and awards like these tell us we’re getting much of what we do right.

“Seeing our regular customers coming back again and again makes all the effort worthwhile.”
